Have you ever thought about amateur dramatics?

We are a friendly group that welcomes new members and are always glad to hear from budding actors and actresses interested in amateur dramatics (amdram), acting or contributing in any other way to our stage productions.

We rehearse for forthcoming stage productions on Mondays and Wednesdays at St Mark's Church Centre where we also perform most of our plays.

About St Marks Players next production

'Too Long an Autumn' is about an ex music hall artist whose family intend her to spend her old age in seclusion – but Maisie has other ideas! The play gives us an ideal mix of humour and pathos.

'Pride at Southanger Park' is based loosely on something that might have come from the pen of Jane Austen. For the benefit of those unfamiliar with the concept of 'coarse acting', it describes a not-too-serious sort of play where anything that can go wrong does go wrong!

Next Production

A Supper Evening
