Welcome to our website.

St Mark's Players is an amateur dramatics group based in Reigate and has been in existence for over 50 years.  You will find us rehearsing most Monday and Wednesday evenings from September to May in the Church Hall of St Mark's Church, Alma Road, Reigate.

Our purpose is to take a play from the initial read-through and in a matter of a few months turn it into the fully fledged performance that the audience see.  Along the way we enjoy the friendship and laughter (and sometimes tension) that comes from the rehearsal - not to mention the obligatory tea/coffee and biscuits.  The production of a play requires many skills, not just acting but directing, set design, set construction, costumes and lighting to mention just a few.   Our membership includes many talented people ranging from friends who have been loyal to the club since the 1960s together with new members who have been with us only a few months.

Enjoy browsing this website.  We'd love to hear from you particularly if you are a past member or wish to become a new member.  Otherwise perhaps we will see you in the audience at our next production.

We can assure you of a good evening.
